Viettel has officially become the first network operator licensed by the Ministry of Information and Communications to test the new 2,600 MHz frequency test in 12 provinces / cities in Vietnam. This helps the group continue to ensure the quality of service for customers on New Year and Lunar New Year.

Viettel is still expanding 4G stations to serve customers in the future
Previously, to serve the needs of 4G (more than 38,000 4G stations) in the context of lack of frequency resources, Viettel had to optimize the entire 1800 MHz band of the 2G network and a part of the 2,100 MHz band of the 3G network. In this context, the frequency of 2,600 MHz has become an important resource for the corporation to ensure the quality of 4G network compared to 3G, especially in provinces / cities with large subscriber density. With the new frequency areas, Viettel's 4G network speed will be 2 times higher than the current one.
According to Viettel's analysis and forecast, the trend of using data services of customers across the country on the occasion of New Year and Lunar New Year 2020 will continue to increase. Compared to the Tet holiday in 2019, the demand for 4G data is 2 times higher, the 3G data is slightly increased by about 10%. Meanwhile, voice and messaging services will be reduced by 10-15%.
In parallel with the 4G stations broadcasting on new frequencies, the corporation deployed many other supporting solutions such as additional equipment, broadcasting new stations, mobile transceivers, system upgrades, Wi-Fi ... At festive areas, the event is crowded with people.
Tet is also a time when customers need to move a lot, especially after December 23. Therefore, Viettel is reviewing and optimizing national highways, city gateways, provincial / district capitals, resorts, resorts, airports, railway stations, bus stations, etc.
Not only mobile services, Viettel's solutions are implemented simultaneously in all fixed telephone, Internet and television service systems to meet the rising demand on Tet holiday.
